You do not need to spend $97 a month to get a working sales funnel. We checked the official pricing pages of eight popular funnel builders in October 2026, from free plans to all-in-one tools, and set out what each really costs, what the free plan allows, what the catch is, and which kind of coach or consultant each one suits best.
The cheapest funnel builder in 2026 is Systeme.io, whose free plan includes pages, email, checkout and up to 2,000 contacts. MailerLite and Kit also have free plans with landing pages. For the lowest paid option, Carrd costs $19 a year paired with a free email tool. ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel start at $97 a month.
Who this is for: Coaches, consultants and founders who want a working funnel without paying for features they will not use.
The price on the pricing page is only part of the bill. A funnel needs a landing page, a way to collect emails, follow-up emails that send on their own, and somewhere to take a booking or a payment. Some builders do all of that in one plan. Others only do the page, so you pay for an email tool on top.
So when we compare cost, we look at four things: the monthly price, what the free plan really allows, whether email follow-up is included, and how many contacts you get before the price jumps. A coach with 300 people on a list has very different needs to a consultant running ads to 5,000.
If you are new to the idea, start with how to set up a sales funnel from scratch, then come back and pick the tool.
All prices below come from each tool's official pricing page at the time of writing (October 2026), in US dollars. Prices change often, so check before you buy.
Price from: free, then $17 a month for the Startup plan. Free plan: yes, with 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 custom domain, unlimited email sends, 1 email campaign, 1 automation rule and 1 course, according to Systeme.io's pricing page.
What you get: pages, email, checkout, courses and a blog in one account, with no transaction fees on any plan. The catch: one email campaign and one automation rule on free is tight once you want more than a single welcome sequence. The design templates are plainer than the pricier tools.
Who it suits: a coach or consultant launching their first lead magnet and offer who wants everything in one place for nothing.
Price from: free, then from $12 a month for the Comfort plan. Free plan: yes, with 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails a month, 1 website and 1 landing page, according to MailerLite's pricing page.
What you get: a strong email tool with forms, landing pages and automations, so the follow-up side of the funnel is well covered. The catch: 250 subscribers fills up fast, and there is no built-in sales call booking, so you will add a calendar tool.
Who it suits: anyone whose funnel is mostly "freebie, then emails, then a call", with a small list to start.
Price from: free, then the Creator plan at $390 a year (about $33 a month) for 1,000 subscribers. Free plan: yes, up to 10,000 subscribers with unlimited landing pages and forms, according to Kit's pricing page.
What you get: clean landing pages and opt-in forms, plus email broadcasts. The catch: the free plan has no automated email sequences or visual automations, and Kit branding stays on. Your welcome emails would need sending by hand until you upgrade.
Who it suits: creators and coaches who write a regular newsletter and mainly need a page to grow the list.
Price from: free for basic sites, then Pro Standard at $19 a year, which adds custom domains and forms, according to Carrd's Pro page. Free plan: yes, with Carrd branding and no custom domain.
What you get: fast, tidy one-page sites. The catch: Carrd is a page builder, not a funnel builder. You need a separate email tool for follow-up, which is where a free Kit or MailerLite plan comes in.
Who it suits: someone comfortable joining two tools together to keep costs close to zero.
Price from: $29 a month for the Pro plan, with 20% off when billed yearly and a 7-day free trial, according to Leadpages' pricing page. Free plan: no.
What you get: 25 pages, 1 custom domain, templates built for conversion and AI writing help. The catch: email marketing is not built in, so you connect a separate email tool. A/B testing is not on the cheapest plan.
Who it suits: people who already have an email tool and want better landing pages than their email tool offers.
Price from: $59 a month for Essentials, or $52 a month billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial, according to Kartra's pricing page. Free plan: no.
What you get: pages, email, checkout, memberships and video hosting in one place. The catch: Essentials allows only 500 contacts, 5 pages and 1 domain, so most growing businesses move to Starter at $119 a month fairly soon.
Who it suits: someone who wants courses or memberships and funnels under one login, and expects to stay small for a while.
Price from: $97 a month for the Launch plan, or $81 a month billed yearly, with a 14-day free trial, according to ClickFunnels' pricing page. Free plan: no.
What you get: unlimited funnels, 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month and 5 custom domains on Launch. The catch: it costs several times more than the free options above for features many beginners never use.
Who it suits: sellers running paid traffic to several offers who want proven funnel templates and lots of contacts from day one.
Price from: $97 a month for Starter, with a 14-day free trial, according to GoHighLevel's pricing page. Free plan: no.
What you get: funnels, CRM, calendars, email and SMS, with unlimited contacts and 3 sub-accounts. The catch: email and SMS carry usage-based charges on top, and the setup is heavy for one person. It is built with agencies in mind.
Who it suits: a business that needs booking, texting and a CRM in one place, or someone running funnels for several brands.
A note on Framer and Webflow: both build beautiful pages, but they are website builders with no email follow-up built in, so you would still add an email tool. Their plans change often, so check current pricing.

If you only want a straight answer: Systeme.io is the cheapest complete funnel builder, and Carrd plus a free email tool is the cheapest do-it-yourself pairing.
The tool is rarely the biggest cost. A working funnel has four parts to pay for, and only some of them are money.
So an honest range is close to zero in cash if you go free and do it yourself, up to a few hundred dollars a month on the premium tools with paid add-ons. The hidden cost is the hours. We break this down further in how much a sales funnel costs to build.
Before you spend anything, put your current numbers into the funnel leak calculator. It shows which step loses you the most people, which tells you whether you need a new tool at all.
No. The cheapest builder is the one you will actually finish. A free tool you set up in a weekend beats a $97 a month tool you are still "getting round to" in March.
Most stalled funnels we see did not fail because of the software. They stalled because the offer was fuzzy, the page tried to say five things, or the follow-up emails were never written. Changing tools fixes none of that.
Here is what we would do first:
If you want to do it with no spend at all, read our step-by-step on how to build a sales funnel for free.
A cheap tool makes sense when you have the time and enjoy the setup. It makes less sense when you have tried twice already, your calendar is full of client work, or you have a funnel that gets visitors but few calls.
In those cases, the cost that matters is the leads you lose each month while the funnel is unfinished or leaking. That is where a done-for-you studio fits. At Unbury we find where your marketing is losing people, build the fix in whichever tool suits you, cheap or not, and run it week to week.
If that sounds useful, start with a free marketing audit. We will show you where the leak is, and you can decide whether to fix it yourself or have us do it.
Systeme.io is the cheapest complete funnel builder, because its free plan includes pages, email, checkout and up to 2,000 contacts. If you only need a page, Carrd's Pro Standard plan costs $19 a year and pairs with a free email tool. Prices were checked in October 2026.
Yes. Systeme.io, MailerLite and Kit all have free plans that let you build a landing page and collect emails. Systeme.io's free plan goes furthest for a full funnel, while Kit's free plan lacks automated email sequences and MailerLite's free plan stops at 250 subscribers.
Most funnel builders fall between free and about $100 a month at their entry level. Page-only tools like Leadpages start around $29 a month, while all-in-one tools like ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel start at $97 a month. Costs rise as your contact list grows.
Only if your builder does not include email. Systeme.io, Kartra, ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel include it. Carrd and Leadpages do not, so you would connect something like Kit or MailerLite for follow-up.
Start free unless you already know you need a paid feature. Free plans are enough to test an offer and a lead magnet. Upgrade when you hit a real limit, such as running out of contacts or needing more automations.
Send us your setup and we will tell you honestly where it is leaking customers and what to fix first. Free, no pitch.
